This is the best Emma/Regina fanvid I have seen so far. I love how you left bits of dialogue in. The music is perfect. The scene selection flawless. If there ever is some sort of campaign to get TPTB see the potential they have with this s/l, this should definitely be a part of it. Great job. Truly.

And everyone else starts to realize that though there are many ways to break a curse, the surest way is through true love.

You had been trying to work up the courage to speak to the Deputy all night. You’re not the misunderstood outsider who can’t talk to the popular kids anymore. You’re a damn fine Mayor and you have a lot to offer a woman like Emma. Don’t sell yourself short. She’d be lucky to have you. She will be lucky to have you.

And because why the fuck not, the whole scene. Ok, so I’m totally imagining this scene mirrored in a season or two…Mary and David are together, Kathryn has found someone else and she repeats Regina’s words back to her.

so I’m stuck. Not because Regina shagged the shaggy dude, that part can easily be absorbed into the storyline (Emma’s reaction was huge, and besides, when two women fight over a guy it’s often because of unresolved sexual tension between the women. FACT! lol), but because:
1. Regina knows stuff….
Wellll…if I clean my shipper goggles and put on my nice little tinfoil hat, here’s what I seem to recall. In 1x04 Emma and Regina have a pretty intense lil’ diner scene and Regina is pretty obsessed with Emma. Emma seems to continually get Regina all worked up. So she needs a way to relieve this unnamed tension. Booty call! Similarly, in 1x06 she has clearly been staring at Emma from the kitchen at the party, as we only the very lovely back of Deputy Swan through the doorway. And then she pulls in a breath, like she has been thinking of something deeply but must push it out of her mind. Again, she’s very frustrated by Emma, frustrated by all these feelings Emma is bringing out in her, probably frightened by the control she is losing, so what does she do? Try to fuck push them away and get back on top *tehehehe*. Now, in between the two booty calls we got 1x05 which was a whole lot of this:
Now, from Emma’s side. 1x04-she spends the entire episode reacting to Regina’s words in the diner. Sure, Graham wants her to stay, that’s nice. BUT Regina wants (or says she wants) her to leave even more. AND THAT’S WHY EMMA WANTS TO STAY, BECAUSE OF REGINA…she said as much back in 1x02, ‘the more you try to push me out the more I want to be here’. Graham gave her the means to stay but Regina gave her the motive. Unfortunately, Regina hurt Emma by literally pushing her away, at the end of 1x05. Deeply. I still can’t get over her little face, after all she just went through. Hence, the snark to MM about Regina at the beginning of 1x06. And what about the end of 1x06? Well, that was just icing on the cake. Sheriff Graham may have disappointed her, but Regina HURT her. She pushed her out of the loop again, so to speak. ”I wish I could be Henry right now.” Speaks VOLUMES. On the surface, she means oblivious to this new information. But she also means she wants back in the little Swan Queen nest, which is clearly much too tight for four people. Sure, it could continue to be Regina x Graham x Henry, but it doesn’t seem like Henry really wants a father (that we know of or have seen yet). He wants another mother. Next week, we will see the attempt at Graham x Emma x Henry but someone has to get pushed out to let Regina back to her proper place and I think by now we all know who that will be. The Sheriff, as far as I know and I could be proven wrong next week, is shaping up to be a plot device, not a very deep character. So we’ll be left with Regina x Emma x Henry but as a product of Regina hurting Emma AGAIN (we assume). Oh it’s all too much. But…
