Oh haha, no, Dr. Linus was written by our fearless creators, Adam and Eddie!!! Who also wrote for Popular before that, believe it or not. So I think they might just maybe be familiar with hot blonde/brunette lead female characters all up in each other’s business and eye-hate-sexing each other like there’s no tomorrow…but yeah, no subtext there either, certainly not…
